What is thermography? Thermography is an external, non-invasive imaging technique that studies heat distribution and measures the surface temperature patterns of various bodily organs and tissues. It is often used to help detect tumors, among other things.

These studies reveal temperature variations in the tissues, which are displayed for analysis by creating brightly colored patterns on a liquid crystal display.  Interpretation of these patterns helps assist in the diagnosis of various disorders and diseases.
